چکیده

‘Cedar Creek’ (Reg. no. CV-290, PI 700113) switchgrass (Panicum virgatum L.) was selected for increased winter survivorship three cycles, using surviving plants from ‘Kanlow’. The first two cycles were conducted at multiple locations in Wisconsin, and the third cycle Cedar Creek Ecosystem Science Reserve, East Bethel, MN. All seed production increases by either Illinois State University or of Illinois. Field evaluations third-cycle population five Wisconsin between 2017 2021, located within USDA hardiness zones 3–5. experiments planted both 2016 2017. Averaged over all trial years, had 91% ground cover, compared with 96% Cave-in-Rock, 95% Shawnee, Liberty. Biomass yield averaged 12.17 Mg ha−1, which 20% higher than Liberty, 30% 31% 520% Kanlow. is a high-biomass lowland-type adapted to released public USDA-ARS 2021.

In Cedar Creek Bog, Minnesota Stratigraphic Distribution of Lipoid Substances

The lake and bog deposits of Cedar Creek Forest, Isanti and Anoka counties, Minnesota, consist of a multiple-facies accumulation of marl, peat, copropel, and sapropel. Chromatographic analyses of the lipoid extracts of samples of the sediments show measurable amounts of saturated and aromatic hydrocarbons as well as large proportions of asphalts and polar lipoid compounds. In general compositio...

Hydrologic and atrazine simulation of the Cedar Creek Watershed using the SWAT model.

One of the major factors contributing to surface water contamination in agricultural areas is the use of pesticides. The Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) is a hydrologic model capable of simulating the fate and transport of pesticides in an agricultural watershed. The SWAT model was used in this study to estimate stream flow and atrazine (2-chloro-4-(ethylamino)-6-(isopropylamino)-s-triazi...
